Welcome to the first ever Stoney Creek Furniture blog! (Drumroll please.) It’s fun for us to put this together for you. It’s intended to give you design ideas, let you know what’s happening in our store and help you see how our furniture can help make your home more of what you want it to be – comfortable, elegant, functional, beautiful – whatever you have in mind.

What makes us different from the average furniture store?

There are a lot of amazing things about our furniture store – for example – we have non-commissioned sales consultants. How great is that? No pressure to sell; no pressure to buy.  Plus our sales consultants know a thing or two about design; so really, when you come in, it’s more of a chat about possibilities than it is about making the sale. But beyond that, the very best thing about our store is the selection.  We have Canada’s largest furniture showroom. Talk about inspiration! We have traditional furniture, contemporary furniture and modern furniture. There’s living room furniture, dining room furniture, bedroom furniture and kids furniture. Sofas, leather furniture, accessories, even mattresses. You get the picture. 15,000 pieces of furniture and accessories!

While you’re imagining that (take your time, it boggles my mind too!), let’s talk about summer for a minute.  It’s here!! It’s hard not to love summer – swimming and festivals and popsicles and easy living. With so much sunshine outside, it’s a great time to lighten up inside too. Sometimes it’s as simple as adding some lovely silk pillows, taking up the heavy rugs and pulling back the curtains. But sometimes, you want a little more – a new piece of furniture to transform a room – or a whole new look from top to bottom. That’s where Stoney Creek Furniture comes in. We’re back to that selection thing again. There’s really no better place to start (and finish!) your search for that “it” piece.

So get outside and enjoy the warm breezes. It is Canada after all and summer doesn’t last forever! But make a plan to visit us too!
